Hello! I live in work in Munich, Germany. My interest in astronomy dates back to when I was 12 years old, and through the years I've mainly become interested in taking pictures of deep-sky objects and comets.
Since the light pollution is too strong in the city of Munich, I need to pack my gear and drive to a dark-site location, usually south towards the alps.
This page shows most of my astronomical pictures, dating back to the early 2000's when I was still shooting on chemical film. Later, I moved on to mainly using astro-modified Canon DSLRs. Just recently in 2024, I upgraded my equipment and switched to dedicated cooled CMOS astro-cameras.
